1. Product Overview

This remote control is designed as a direct replacement for various Arielli, Horizon, TOKAI, and EVERLINE LED TV models. It provides full functionality for controlling your television, including power, channel selection, volume adjustment, menu navigation, and source input selection. No programming is typically required; simply insert batteries and begin use.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Press down on the latch and slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2 Initial Use

Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for immediate use with compatible Arielli, Horizon, TOKAI, and EVERLINE TV models. Point the remote directly at the TV's infrared sensor and press any button to test its functionality.

3. Operating Instructions

This section details the primary functions of the remote control buttons.

• Power (Red Button): Turns the TV on or off.
• Number Buttons (0-9): Directly select TV channels.
• CH+/CH-: Changes the TV channel up or down sequentially.
• VOL+/VOL-: Increases or decreases the TV volume.

• Sleep: Sets a timer for the TV to automatically turn off.
• Display: Shows current channel information or other on-screen display details.
• Color Buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue): Used for specific functions within certain TV menus or smart TV applications, as indicated on screen.
• Media Control Buttons (Play, Pause, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Previous, Next): Control media playback if the TV supports it (e.g., USB media).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the remote in liquid.

4.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or it stops functioning. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA). Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

4.3 Storage

Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. If the remote will not be used for an extended period, it is advisable to remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

5. Troubleshooting

• Remote not responding:
  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
  • Confirm you are pointing the remote directly at the TV.
• Certain buttons not working:
  • This may indicate a specific button malfunction or a compatibility issue with that particular function on your TV model.
  • Ensure the TV is not in a mode where the button would be inactive (e.g., trying to change channels while in a menu).
• Interference:
  • Bright sunlight or strong fluorescent lighting can sometimes interfere with infrared signals. Try operating the remote in different lighting conditions.
