1. Important Safety Instructions
Always read and understand all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
1.1 General Power Tool Safety
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
1.2 Electrical Safety
- Battery tools do not need to be plugged into an electrical outlet; therefore, they are always in operating condition. Be aware of possible hazards when not in use or when changing accessories.
- Use only with the specified battery pack and charger. Using other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
- Do not expose battery packs or tools to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130°C (265°F) may cause explosion.
1.3 Personal Safety
- Always wear eye protection and appropriate personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, gloves, and non-slip safety shoes.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
- Avoid unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.

3.4 Oil Filling
- Locate the oil reservoir cap on the tool.
- Unscrew the cap and carefully fill the reservoir with the provided organic chain oil. Do not overfill.

4.2 Cutting Techniques
- Always ensure stable footing and balance.

- Cut smaller branches first. For larger branches (up to 12.5 cm), make relief cuts if necessary to prevent pinching.
- Avoid cutting into the ground or hard objects, as this can dull or damage the chain.
- Be aware of kickback. Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar.
4.3 Stopping the Tool
- Release the trigger switch. The chain will stop quickly.
- Always remove the battery pack from the tool when not in use, before cleaning, maintenance, or storage.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your cordless wood cutter.
5.1 Cleaning
- After each use, remove the battery and clean the tool.
- Use a brush or compressed air to remove sawdust, chips, and debris from the chain, guide bar, and ventilation openings.
- Wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
5.2 Chain Maintenance
- Chain Tension: Regularly check and adjust chain tension. A properly tensioned chain should not sag on the underside of the guide bar and should be able to be pulled around by hand.
- Chain Lubrication: Ensure the automatic oiling system is functioning and the oil reservoir is adequately filled.
- Chain Sharpening: A dull chain will reduce cutting efficiency and increase strain on the motor. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when necessary. Refer to a specialist for proper chain sharpening techniques if unsure.
5.3 Storage
- Always remove the battery pack before storing the tool.
- Clean the tool thoroughly and apply the protective cover to the guide bar.
- Store the tool in its carrying case, in a dry, well-ventilated area, out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
