1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Eujgoov SVP-916 Single-Phase Adjustable Voltage Protector. This device is designed to safeguard electrical equipment from damage caused by overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent conditions in single-phase AC 230V, 50/60Hz power systems. It automatically disconnects power during abnormal conditions and restores it once stable.
2. Safety Information
WARNING: Electrical installation should only be performed by qualified personnel. Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before installation or maintenance.
- Ensure proper wiring according to local electrical codes and the provided wiring diagram.
- Do not operate the device if it is damaged or appears to be malfunctioning.
- Keep the device away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
- Verify that the voltage and current ratings of the protector match your application requirements.
3. Product Overview
The Eujgoov SVP-916 is a compact, DIN rail-mountable device featuring a digital display for real-time voltage and current readings, along with control buttons for setting protection parameters.

Key Components:
- Digital Display: Shows real-time voltage and current.
- SET Button: Enters parameter setting mode.
- Up/Down Buttons: Adjust parameter values.
- Input Terminals (IN N, IN L): For connecting incoming power.
- Output Terminals (OUT N, OUT L): For connecting to the load.
- Indicator Lights: OV (Overvoltage), UV (Undervoltage), OC (Overcurrent).
4. Setup and Installation
The SVP-916 is designed for DIN rail mounting within an electrical distribution box.
- Power Disconnection: Before starting, ensure the main power supply to the distribution box is completely disconnected. Use a voltage tester to confirm no live circuits.
- Mounting: Clip the protector onto a standard 35mm DIN rail. Ensure it is securely fastened.

Figure 4.1: Bottom view illustrating the DIN rail mounting mechanism. - Wiring: Connect the incoming live (L) and neutral (N) wires to the "IN L" and "IN N" terminals respectively. Connect the outgoing live (L) and neutral (N) wires to the "OUT L" and "OUT N" terminals, leading to your protected load. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

Main Power Supply (L, N) → SVP-916 (IN L, IN N) → SVP-916 (OUT L, OUT N) → Electrical Load (L, N) - Power Restoration: Once all wiring is complete and verified, restore power at the main circuit breaker. The device display should light up.
5. Operating Instructions
The SVP-916 allows for adjustment of overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent protection parameters.
- Viewing Parameters: In normal operating mode, the display cycles between showing real-time voltage and current.
- Entering Setting Mode: Press and hold the SET button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the first parameter starts flashing.
- Navigating Parameters: Briefly press the SET button to cycle through the adjustable parameters:
- Overvoltage Protection Value (OV)
- Overvoltage Recovery Value
- Overvoltage Action Time
- Undervoltage Protection Value (UV)
- Undervoltage Recovery Value
- Undervoltage Action Time
- Overcurrent Protection Value (OC)
- Overcurrent Action Time
- Recovery Delay Time
- Power-on Delay Time
- Adjusting Values: When a parameter is flashing, use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to increase or decrease its value.
- Saving Settings: After adjusting all desired parameters, wait for approximately 5-10 seconds without pressing any buttons. The device will automatically save the settings and return to normal operating mode. Alternatively, press and hold the SET button again to exit.
- Default Settings: To restore factory default settings, press and hold both the Up and Down buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds while in normal operating mode.
Note: Refer to the Specifications section for the default values and adjustable ranges of each parameter.
6. Maintenance
The Eujgoov SVP-916 is designed for minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the device with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Connection Check: Annually, or as needed, verify that all wiring connections are secure and free from corrosion. Ensure power is disconnected before checking connections.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the operating environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges to prolong the device's lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device display is off. | No power supply; incorrect wiring. | Check main circuit breaker. Verify wiring connections (IN L, IN N). |
| Device trips frequently. | Protection parameters set too low/high; unstable power supply; load exceeding capacity. | Adjust OV/UV/OC parameters to appropriate levels. Consult an electrician to check power stability. Reduce load or use a higher-rated protector. |
| Device does not restore power automatically. | Recovery delay time is too long; fault condition persists. | Wait for the set recovery delay time. Ensure the power supply has stabilized and the fault condition (overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent) is no longer present. |
| Cannot enter setting mode. | SET button not held long enough. | Press and hold the SET button for 3-5 seconds. |
