2. Safety Information

4.2 Water Resistance

This watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water, such as hand washing or rain. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any water sports where it would be subjected to high water pressure or prolonged submersion.

  • Do not press any buttons or pull the crown while the watch is in contact with water.
  • Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your watch:

  • Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth regularly.
  • For the silica gel band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying thoroughly.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's finish or materials.

5.2 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a C battery (included). When the watch stops or the hands move erratically, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.

5.3 Storage

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keeping it in its original packaging or a watch box can help protect it from dust and scratches.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
  • Incorrect time: Reset the time as described in Section 3.1. If the issue persists, the watch may require servicing.
  • Condensation inside the watch: This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Avoid further contact with water and seek professional inspection immediately.
