4. Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install your Cawhum R9 WiFi Video Doorbell:
- Prepare the Door: Ensure your door has a peephole with a diameter between 16mm and 35mm. If not, a peephole of the appropriate diameter must be made.
- Install Outdoor Unit: Insert the outdoor camera unit through the peephole from the outside of the door. Ensure the camera is oriented correctly (doorbell button facing down).
- Attach Hanging Board: From the inside of the door, thread the ribbon cable from the outdoor unit through the hanging board. Secure the hanging board to the door using the provided screws.
- Connect Indoor Unit: Connect the ribbon cable from the outdoor unit to the designated port on the back of the indoor monitor unit.
