Attaching the Auxiliary Handle

The auxiliary handle can be rotated 360° for optimal grip and control. Loosen the handle clamp, position the handle as desired, and tighten the clamp securely.

Inserting SDS-Plus Bits

The tool features a quick-release chuck according to the SDS-Plus system. To insert a bit, pull back the chuck collar, insert the SDS-Plus bit until it clicks into place, and release the collar. Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked. To remove, pull back the chuck collar and pull out the bit.

Inserting the Geared Chuck for Round Shank Bits

For drilling with standard round shank drill bits (not suitable for hammer drilling or chiseling), attach the supplied geared chuck with the SDS adapter. Insert the SDS adapter of the geared chuck into the SDS-Plus chuck of the tool as described above. Then, insert the round shank drill bit into the geared chuck and tighten it with the chuck key.

Setting the Depth Stop

The easily adjustable depth stop allows for precise drilling depth. Insert the depth stop into the designated hole on the auxiliary handle. Adjust the desired drilling depth by sliding the depth stop and securing it in place.

4. Operating

Function Selector

The central selector allows you to choose between three main functions:

  • Drilling (without impact): For drilling in wood, metal, or plastic.
  • Hammer Drilling (with impact mechanism activated): For drilling in concrete, masonry, and stone.
  • Chiseling (impact mechanism activated with rotation stop): For light demolition work, removing tiles, or channeling. The chisel orientation can be continuously adjusted.

Speed Adjustment

The rotation speed can be adjusted via the speed regulator. This allows for precise control depending on the material and application.

Overload Clutch

The tool is equipped with an overload clutch for safe decoupling of the drive in case the drill bit jams. This protects both the user and the tool.

Vibration Damping

The handle features vibration damping to protect the user during prolonged and time-consuming use, enhancing comfort and reducing fatigue.

Carbon Brush Indicator Light

A control light indicates the wear of the carbon brushes, signaling when replacement is necessary to maintain optimal performance and extend the tool's lifespan.

  • Keep the ventilation slots clean to prevent overheating.
  • Regularly clean the tool housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning agents or solvents.
  • Clean the SDS-Plus chuck regularly to ensure smooth operation and prevent dust buildup.

Lubrication

Apply the supplied lubricating grease to the SDS-Plus shank of drill bits and chisels before insertion to reduce wear and improve performance.

Carbon Brush Replacement

The carbon brushes are interchangeable. When the indicator light illuminates, it signifies that the carbon brushes are worn and need replacement. Refer to the tool's diagram for the location of the housing cover, which can be opened with the supplied key to access and replace the carbon brushes. Always use original replacement carbon brushes.
