Important Safety Instructions

• Always place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings.

Setup

1. Unpack the Scale: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Install Batteries (Optional): Open the battery compartment on the underside of the display unit. Insert the two rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment.
3. Connect AC Adapter (Optional): For continuous power, plug the AC adapter into the power port on the display unit and then into a standard electrical outlet.
4. Position the Scale: Place the weighing platform on a firm, level, and stable surface.
5. Connect Display Unit: Ensure the coiled cord from the weighing platform is securely connected to the display unit.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on or off. The display will show "88888" and then "0.00" or "0.0" when ready for use.

2. Weighing Items

1. Ensure the scale is on and displays "0.00".
2. Gently place the item to be weighed in the center of the weighing platform.
3. Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.

3. Unit Conversion

Press the MODE button to cycle through the available weighing units: kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), pounds:ounces (lb:oz), and grams (g).

4. Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the contents.

1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.00".
3. Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the items.

5. Hold Function

The Hold function allows you to lock the weight reading on the display, even after the item is removed from the platform. This is useful for large or awkwardly shaped items that might obscure the display.

1. Place the item on the weighing platform.
2. Once the weight stabilizes, press the HOLD button. The reading will be locked.
3. You can now remove the item, and the weight will remain displayed. Press HOLD again to release the reading.

6. AC/DC Power & Auto-Off Setting

The scale can be powered by the AC adapter or the included rechargeable batteries. When operating on DC (battery) power, you can adjust the auto-off timer.

• To set the auto-off time (1, 3, or 5 minutes, or OFF), refer to the specific instructions in the included quick start guide or the display unit's settings menu. This feature helps conserve battery life.

Maintenance
