4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Gently twist the top section of the grinder (the part containing the motor and battery compartment) counter-clockwise to separate it from the transparent spice container.
- Locate the battery compartment. Insert 6 AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
- Align the top section with the transparent container and twist clockwise until it clicks securely into place.
4.2. Filling the Grinder
- Separate the top section from the transparent spice container as described in step 1 of battery installation.
- Fill the transparent container with your desired dry spices, such as salt crystals, peppercorns, or dried herbs. Do not overfill; leave some space at the top. The maximum capacity is 9 ounces (approximately 230ml).
- Reattach the top section to the transparent container by twisting clockwise until secure.

5. Operation
5.1. Automatic Grinding
The FORLIM Electric Grinder features gravity-sensing technology for automatic operation. Simply tilt the grinder downwards (approximately 45 degrees or more) to activate the grinding mechanism. The blue LED light will illuminate during operation. When you return the grinder to an upright position, the grinding will stop automatically.

5.2. Adjusting Coarseness
You can customize the fineness or coarseness of your grind by adjusting the knob located at the bottom of the grinder. Turn the knob clockwise for a finer grind and counter-clockwise for a coarser grind. Experiment with different settings to achieve your preferred texture for various dishes.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

6.1. Cleaning the Spice Container

- DO NOT immerse the motor unit in water.

- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing.
