3. Setup
This remote control requires batteries for operation. No complex setup or programming is needed; simply insert the batteries, and the remote is ready for use with compatible Alpine car stereo systems.
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 2.3).
- Slide the battery compartment cover open.
- Insert two (2) CR2 batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: Batteries are not included with the remote control and must be purchased separately.
4. Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your Alpine car stereo system. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the stereo.
- PWR (Power): Turns the car stereo system on or off.
- VOL+ / VOL-: Increases or decreases the volume level.
