4. Safety Information
Always prioritize safety during installation and use. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or damage to the product or property.
- Ensure the mounting surface (wall) is structurally sound and capable of supporting the weight of the door and hardware.
- Use appropriate tools and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves.
- If drilling into masonry or concrete, use the provided wood anchors or suitable alternatives. For wooden stud walls, ensure screws are driven directly into studs.
- Keep children and pets away from the installation area.
- Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 330 lbs (150 kg).
- Regularly inspect all fasteners and components for tightness and wear.
5. Installation Guide
5.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
Before you begin, gather the following tools and confirm your wall type:
- Pencil for marking
- Measuring tape
- Level
- Drill and appropriate drill bits (refer to instructions for sizes)
- Hammer
- Wrench/Socket set
- Stud finder (for wooden stud walls)
Wall Types:
- Solid Brick Wall, Hollow Brick Wall, Cement Wall: Requires installation of wood anchors.
- Solid Wood Wall, Wooden Frame Wall: Wood anchors are generally not required.
5.2 Choosing the Right Size
To ensure proper fit and function, carefully measure your door opening and door dimensions:
- Rail Length: Opening Width x 2 + 15cm (6 inches).
- Door Width: Opening Width + 8-10cm (3-4 inches).
- Fit Door Thickness: 3cm-4.8cm (1-3/16" to 1-7/8").
- Minimum Top Clearance: 17.8cm (7 inches) above the door opening.
- Gap from Door and Floor: Approximately 1cm (3/8").

5.3 Mounting the Track
The track consists of spliced rail sections. Ensure they are correctly joined and level during installation.
- Mark the horizontal centerline for the track installation, ensuring it is perfectly level.
- For spliced tracks, connect the rail sections using the provided connectors. Place wooden blocks under the track during installation to prevent damage when knocking in the connectors.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. If required for your wall type, insert wood anchors into the drilled holes.
- Attach the track to the wall using the rail spacers and lag screws. Ensure all screws are securely tightened.
5.4 Installing Rollers and Door Stops
- Attach the J-shape roller hangers to the top edge of your door panel. Ensure they are securely fastened and evenly spaced.
- Hang the door onto the installed track.
- Install the anti-jump disks on the top edge of the door, above the rollers, to prevent the door from lifting off the track.
- Slide the door stops onto the track at your desired open and closed positions. Secure them with the provided set screws.

5.5 Floor Guide Installation
The floor guide prevents the bottom of the door from swinging out.
- Position the floor guide on the floor directly beneath the door, ensuring it aligns with the groove at the bottom of your door.
- Mark the drilling locations for the floor guide.
- Drill pilot holes and secure the floor guide to the floor using the provided screws.
6. Operating Instructions
Your CCJH barn door hardware is designed for quiet and smooth operation. To open or close the door, gently push or pull the door panel along the track. The nylon wheels and spring damping door stoppers ensure a silent and effortless glide.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and smooth operation of your barn door hardware.
- Cleaning: Wipe the track and rollers periodically with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Lubrication: Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the roller wheels and track surface every 6-12 months to maintain smooth gliding.
- Fastener Check: Periodically check all mounting screws and bolts for tightness. Re-tighten if necessary to prevent wobbling or sagging.
- Door Stops: Ensure door stops are securely in place and functioning correctly to prevent the door from rolling off the track.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your barn door hardware, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Door is difficult to slide:
- Check if the track is level. An unlevel track can cause resistance.
- Clean the track and lubricate the rollers.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the rollers or track.
- Door makes noise when sliding:
- Lubricate the rollers and track.
- Check for loose fasteners on the rollers or track.
- Door wobbles or feels unstable:
- Verify all mounting screws for the track and rollers are securely tightened.
- Ensure the anti-jump disks are properly installed and adjusted.
- Check the floor guide for proper installation and alignment with the door's groove.
- Track appears bent or misaligned:
- If the track was found to be bent before installation, it should not be installed. Contact customer service for a replacement.
- Ensure proper support (e.g., solid wood header board) is used behind the track, especially for non-stud mounting.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact CCJH customer support.
