Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the clock. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The clock requires continuous power to operate.

2. Memory Backup Battery Installation

The clock uses 4 AAA batteries (included) for memory backup. These batteries ensure that time and settings are retained during a power outage, eliminating the need for recalibration when power is restored.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Mounting and Placement

The clock offers two placement methods: wall mounting or desktop placement.

Wall Mounting:

  1. Find a suitable location less than 2 meters (78 inches) from a power socket.
  2. Use the provided paper ruler card to mark the position for the mounting holes on the wall.
  3. Fix the hanging backboard to the wall using screws (not included) through its three holes, ensuring it is level.
  4. Align the two hanging holes on the back of the clock with the two hooks on the pegboard, then hang the clock securely.

Desktop Placement:

Extend the fold-out stand located on the back of the clock to place it securely on any flat surface such as a desk, table, or shelf.

Operating Instructions

Date and Temperature Display Modes:

The clock offers three display modes for date and temperature:

Temperature Display:

The clock displays temperature in either Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). Press the °C/°F button on the remote control to switch between the two units.

Brightness Adjustment:

The clock features auto-dimming based on ambient light. You can also manually adjust the brightness to 4 levels or turn it off.

Use the brightness adjustment buttons on the remote control to cycle through the brightness levels (Lv.1, Lv.2, Lv.3, Lv.4, Off).

Daylight Saving Time (DST):

The clock supports automatic DST adjustment. To enable or disable DST:

  1. Press the SET button on the remote control until you reach the DST setting.
  2. Use the + or - buttons to toggle DST On or Off.
  3. Press SET to confirm.

Alarm Clock:

The clock has one alarm setting with a 9-minute snooze function and three working modes.

Setting the Alarm:

  1. Press and hold Alarm SET button for 2 seconds to enter alarm setting mode.
  2. Use + or - buttons to set the desired alarm hour and minute.
  3. Press SET to confirm and move to the alarm mode selection.
  4. Use + or - to select one of the three alarm modes:
    • MOD 1 (1E): Alarm rings every day.
    • MOD 2 (2E): Alarm rings Monday to Friday.
    • MOD 3 (3E): Alarm rings Saturday and Sunday.
  5. Press SET to confirm and exit alarm setting.

Snooze Function:

When the alarm rings, press the SNOOZE button (on top of the clock) or any button on the remote control (except ON/OFF) to activate the 9-minute snooze. The alarm will ring again after 9 minutes.

Turning Off Alarm:

To turn off the alarm completely, press the Alarm SET button on the remote control or the ON/OFF button on the clock.

Hourly Chime:

The clock can be set to chime hourly. There are three chime modes:

  1. MOD 1 (Default): No chime.
  2. MOD 2: Hourly chime 24 hours a day.
  3. MOD 3: Hourly chime only from 6:00 to 21:00.

To set the hourly chime:

  1. Press and hold Alarm SET button for 2 seconds into Chime set.
  2. Use + or - to select the desired chime ringtone (if multiple options are available, otherwise skip).
  3. Press SET to choose the chime mode (MOD 1, MOD 2, or MOD 3).
  4. Press SET to confirm.

Count Up/Down Timer:

The clock features a versatile timer function with both count-up and count-down capabilities, with a maximum timing period of 29 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.

Setting the Count-Down Timer:

  1. Press the Enter/Exit Timer button on the remote control to enter timer mode. The display will show "00:00:00".
  2. Use the HR, MIN, and SEC buttons to set the desired countdown time.
  3. Press the Timer ST/SP button to start the countdown.
  4. To pause, press Timer ST/SP again. Press again to resume.
  5. To reset the timer, press the Timer Reset button.
  6. To exit timer mode, press the Enter/Exit Timer button.

Using the Count-Up Timer:

  1. Press the Enter/Exit Timer button to enter timer mode.
  2. Ensure the timer is reset to "00:00:00" (press Timer Reset if needed).
  3. Press the Timer ST/SP button to start counting up.
  4. To pause, press Timer ST/SP again. Press again to resume.
  5. To reset the timer, press the Timer Reset button.
  6. To exit timer mode, press the Enter/Exit Timer button.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the clock's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: If the memory backup batteries are depleted, replace them with new AAA batteries to ensure settings are retained during power interruptions.
  • Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, disconnect it from power and remove the memory backup batteries. Store in a cool, dry place.
