1. Product Overview

The jasugKEY Smart APP Access Control System Kit provides a convenient and secure solution for door access management. This kit integrates multiple unlocking methods including a smartphone application, remote controllers, and an indoor exit button. 2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply is disconnected before performing any wiring or maintenance. Use only the provided DC 12V power adapter.
• Installation: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel or with careful adherence to the wiring diagrams. Avoid installing in areas with excessive moisture or extreme temperatures.
• Magnetic Lock: The magnetic lock generates a strong magnetic field. Keep magnetic-sensitive devices away from the lock.
• Emergency Access: Always ensure there is an alternative method of exit in case of power failure or system malfunction.
• Children and Pets: Keep remote controllers and the system out of reach of children and pets to prevent unintended operation.

3. Setup

3.1 Component Identification

Before beginning installation, verify all components are present:

3.2 Wiring Diagram

Connect the components according to the following diagram. Each accessory has a unique marked port on the controller for simplified wiring. Ensure the lock mode switch on the controller is set to "NC" (Normally Closed) for standard operation.

3.3 Magnetic Lock Installation

The 280KG (617lbs) magnetic lock is suitable for various door types including wooden, metal, fireproof, and glass doors. Ensure proper alignment and secure mounting for optimal performance.

3.4 Tuya Smart APP Connection

To connect the system to the Tuya Smart APP:

1. Adjust the lock delay time to 10 seconds.
2. Press and hold the RF-Key button on the controller until the LED lights flash red and green. Release the RF-Key; the board is now in pairing mode.
3. Open the Tuya Smart APP on your smartphone.
4. Click "Add Device" and search for nearby devices.
5. Add the detected Wi-Fi device.

3.5 Remote Control Pairing

To pair a remote control:

1. Adjust the lock delay time to 0 seconds.
2. Press the RF-Key button on the controller. The green light will flash.
3. Press the remote control button. The red light on the controller will illuminate, indicating successful pairing.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Unlocking Methods

• Tuya Smart APP: Open the Tuya Smart APP and tap the unlock icon to release the magnetic lock.
• Remote Control: Press the designated button on the remote transmitter to unlock the door.
• Exit Button: Press the indoor exit button to temporarily release the magnetic lock for egress.

4.2 Adjusting Lock Delay Time

The lock delay time can be adjusted to 0, 5, or 10 seconds. This setting determines how long the magnetic lock remains disengaged after an unlock command. Refer to the video for detailed instructions on adjusting this setting on the controller.

4.3 Operating Modes

The controller supports different operating modes, which can be selected by adjusting a button on the circuit board:

• Latched Model (Middle Position): In this mode, the lock will not automatically re-lock after unlocking. The remote control or Tuya Smart APP cannot re-lock the door directly; manual re-locking is required.
• Toggle Model (Leftmost Position): After unlocking, the remote control must be pressed once more to re-lock the door.
• Momentary Model (Rightmost Position): This is the default mode. The system will automatically lock after a delay of 5 or 10 seconds (depending on the set delay time) after unlocking.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Clean the magnetic lock and other components regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Remote Transmitter Batteries: The remote transmitters are powered by 2 CR2016/3V batteries. Replace them when the signal strength weakens or the remote stops responding.
• Cable Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections.
• Firmware Updates: Check the Tuya Smart APP for any available firmware updates for the access controller to ensure optimal performance and security.

6. Troubleshooting

• System not powering on: Check the DC 12V power adapter connection and ensure it is plugged into a working power outlet.
• Magnetic lock not engaging/disengaging: Verify all wiring connections according to the diagram. Ensure the lock mode switch is set correctly. Check for any obstructions between the magnetic lock and armature plate.
• Remote control not working: Ensure the remote is paired correctly (refer to Section 3.5). Check and replace the remote control batteries if necessary.
• Tuya Smart APP connection issues: Ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection and the controller is within Wi-Fi range. Re-attempt the APP pairing process if needed.
• Buzzer not sounding: Check the buzzer's wiring connection to the controller.
• Deleting Remote Controls: To delete a remote control, adjust the lock delay time to 0 seconds. Press and hold the RF-Key button for 15 seconds until the green light flashes, then release the RF-Key to complete the deletion. The remote will no longer be able to open the door.
