4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your energy cost meter:
- Plug the LogiLink EM0002B Energy Cost Meter into a standard 230V AC 50Hz wall outlet.

- The device will power on automatically and typically display the current network voltage.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Display Modes
Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the various display modes:
- Voltage (V): Displays the current network voltage.
- Power (W): Shows the real-time power consumption of the connected appliance in Watts.
- Energy Consumption (kWh): Accumulates the total energy consumed over time in kilowatt-hours.
- Energy Cost (€): Calculates the total cost based on the accumulated energy consumption and your set tariff.
- Overload Warning: Indicates if the connected load exceeds the maximum allowed wattage.

5.2. Setting Energy Tariff
To calculate energy costs, you need to input your electricity tariff:
- Press the SET button to enter the cost setting mode. The cost value will start flashing.
- Use the MODE button to adjust the flashing digit or value.
- Press the SET button again to confirm the digit and move to the next one, or to the next setting parameter.
- Once all digits of your tariff are set, press SET one last time to save the tariff and exit the setting mode.
5.3. Resetting Data
To clear all accumulated energy consumption and cost data, press the R (Reset) button. This will reset all values to zero, allowing you to start a new measurement period.
5.4. Overload Warning
The device is equipped with an overload warning feature. If the power consumption of the connected appliance exceeds the maximum limit of 3600W, the display will show an overload alert. Immediately disconnect the appliance causing the overload to prevent damage to the meter or the appliance.
6. Maintenance
- Clean the exterior of the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials.
- Store the device in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Ensure the plug and socket are free from dust and debris before connecting.
