Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Fill Water Tank: Detach the water tank from the main unit. Use the provided measuring cup to fill the tank with distilled or demineralized water up to the MAX line (260ml capacity). Do not use tap water to avoid mineral buildup. Reattach the water tank securely.
- Attach Brush (Optional): For delicate fabrics or to remove lint, attach the fabric brush attachment to the steamer head. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Power Connection: Plug the steamer into a suitable electrical outlet (120V).
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, typically red, indicating the steamer is heating up.
- Preheating: Allow approximately 20-30 seconds for the steamer to preheat. The indicator light will change color (e.g., blue) or stop flashing when ready to steam.
- Select Steam Mode: The steamer offers two steam modes. Press the steam mode button to cycle between the low and high steam settings, indicated by different light patterns or icons.
- Steaming Garments: Hang the garment on a hanger. Hold the fabric taut with one hand and move the steamer head slowly over the fabric in a vertical motion with the other hand. For best results, keep the steamer head in contact with the fabric or very close to it.
- Using Brush Attachment: When using the fabric brush, gently brush the fabric while steaming to help lift fibers and remove wrinkles more effectively.
- Continuous Steam: Some models may feature a lock button for continuous steam. If available, press the steam trigger and then engage the lock to release steam without holding the trigger.
- Power Off: When finished, press the power button to turn off the steamer. Unplug it from the outlet.
Maintenance
- Empty Water Tank: After each use, ensure the steamer is unplugged and cooled. Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
- Cleaning Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Descaling (Monthly): To prevent mineral buildup, descale the steamer monthly or as needed. Fill the water tank with a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water. Run the steamer until half the solution is used, then turn it off and let it sit for 30 minutes. Finish steaming the remaining solution, then rinse the tank and run two full tanks of fresh distilled water through the steamer to clear any vinegar residue.
- Storage: Store the steamer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and not kinked.
