1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Lancoon Digital LCD Alarm Clock. This compact and versatile device provides time, temperature, and humidity readings, along with an alarm function. Its magnetic design allows for flexible placement in various environments. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and optimal performance.

2. Product Features

• 12/24 Hour & ℃/℉ Display: The clock displays time and temperature in two selectable modes: 12/24-hour format and Celsius/Fahrenheit.
• Three Placement Options: The digital alarm clock offers versatile placement, including magnetic adsorption on a refrigerator, standing on a table, or hanging on a wall.
• Magnetic Suction Design: The back of the alarm clock features a magnetic suction design, allowing it to be firmly attached to metallic surfaces like a refrigerator.
• Temperature and Humidity Display: The clock simultaneously displays real-time temperature and humidity. It also records the highest and lowest temperature and humidity values over the past 24 hours.
• HD Display: Features a high-definition LCD display with clearly visible numbers for easy readability.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert one CR2032 button cell battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Initial Settings (Time, Date, Temperature Unit, Time Format)

After battery installation, the clock will power on. Use the buttons on the back of the device for settings.

• MODE Button: Press to cycle through Time, Alarm, and Date display modes. Press and hold to enter setting mode for the current display.
• UP Button: Used to increase values during setting.
• ℃/℉ Button: Press to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
• MAX/MIN Button: Press to view maximum and minimum temperature/humidity records.

1. Set Time: In Time display mode, press and hold the MODE button. The hour will flash. Use the UP button to adjust the hour. Press MODE again to set minutes, then repeat for year, month, and day.
2. Set 12/24 Hour Format: While setting the hour, press the MODE button to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.
3. Set Temperature Unit: Press the ℃/℉ button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Display Modes

Press the MODE button to cycle through the following display modes:

• Time Display: Shows current time, temperature, and humidity.
• Alarm Display: Shows the set alarm time.
• Date Display: Shows the current date, temperature, and humidity.

5.2. Setting the Alarm

1. Press the MODE button until the Alarm display mode is shown (usually indicated by an alarm icon).
2. Press and hold the MODE button. The alarm hour will flash.
3. Use the UP button to adjust the alarm hour.
4. Press MODE again to set the alarm minutes. Use the UP button to adjust.
5. Press MODE one more time to confirm and exit alarm setting.

5.3. Activating/Deactivating the Alarm

In Alarm display mode, press the UP button to toggle the alarm ON or OFF. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

5.4. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press any button (except the MODE button during alarm setting) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes.

5.5. Viewing Max/Min Temperature and Humidity

In Time or Date display mode, press the MAX/MIN button to view the highest recorded temperature and humidity for the past 24 hours. Press it again to view the lowest recorded values. Press a third time to return to current readings.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.

6.2. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or functions irregularly, it is time to replace the CR2032 button cell battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1.

7. Troubleshooting

• Display is blank: Check if the battery is installed correctly and has sufficient power. Replace the battery if necessary.
• Incorrect time/date: Re-enter the time and date settings as described in Section 4.2.
• Alarm not sounding: Ensure the alarm is activated (alarm icon visible on display). Check the alarm time setting.
• Inaccurate temperature/humidity: Ensure the clock is placed in a location with good air circulation, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or extreme humidity. Allow some time for the sensors to stabilize after placement.
