- Battery Backup: For memory function (to retain time and alarm settings during a power outage), insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Note that the display may not remain continuously lit when operating solely on battery power to conserve energy.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
To clean the alarm clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges on the mirror display, use a slightly damp cloth and immediately dry with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish and display.
6.2. Battery Replacement
If the clock's memory function (retaining settings during power loss) becomes unreliable, it may be time to replace the AAA backup batteries. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit, remove the old batteries, and insert three new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment cover securely.
7. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or turns off frequently:
Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected to a working power source. If running on battery backup only, the display may turn off to conserve power. Connect to USB power for a continuous display. Check if night mode is active and dimming the display during certain hours. - Alarm does not sound:
Verify that the alarm is set and activated (check for the alarm icon on the display). Ensure the alarm volume is not set to zero (if adjustable, refer to specific settings). - Time or settings are lost after power outage:
Ensure fresh AAA batteries are installed in the battery compartment for memory backup. Without batteries, settings will be lost when main power is disconnected. - Display is too dim or too bright:
Press the SNZ/LIGHT button repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels. Check if night mode is active and adjust its settings if necessary. - Buttons are unresponsive:
Try disconnecting and reconnecting the power. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
