3. Component Identification

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for proper installation of your Foxin H110 Motherboard Prime into your PC chassis.

4.1 CPU Installation

  1. Locate the LGA 1151 socket on the motherboard.
  2. Gently push down the load lever and pull it to the side to open the CPU socket retention frame.
  3. Align the triangular mark on your Intel CPU with the corresponding mark on the socket. Carefully place the CPU into the socket without forcing it.
  4. Close the retention frame and push the load lever back into its locked position.

4.2 RAM Installation

  1. Open the clips on both ends of the DDR4 memory slots.
  2. Align the notch on the DDR4 RAM module with the key in the memory slot.
  3. Press down firmly on both ends of the RAM module until the clips snap into place.
  4. For dual-channel operation, install RAM modules in both slots.

4.3 Storage Device Installation (NVMe M.2 / SATA)

  1. For NVMe M.2 SSD: Insert the M.2 SSD into the M.2 slot at an angle, then gently push it down and secure it with the provided screw.
  2. For SATA Drives: Connect one end of the SATA data cable to a SATA 3.0 port on the motherboard and the other end to your HDD/SSD. Ensure the drive is also connected to your power supply.

4.4 Power Supply Connection

  1. Connect the 24-pin ATX power cable from your power supply unit (PSU) to the 24-pin connector on the motherboard.
  2. Connect the 4-pin ATX 12V power cable from your PSU to the 4-pin CPU power connector on the motherboard.

4.5 Front Panel Connectors

Connect the front panel cables (Power LED, HDD LED, Power Switch, Reset Switch, USB, Audio) from your PC chassis to the corresponding headers on the motherboard. Refer to the motherboard diagram in Section 3 for exact locations.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 First Boot

  • Check RAM modules are correctly seated. Try booting with one RAM stick at a time.

  • Disconnect all non-essential peripherals and storage devices to isolate the issue.
