6. Setup & Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before starting.
6.1. Prepare the Ceiling
- Determine the desired location for each light fixture.
- Using the provided template (if available) or measuring the fixture's diameter, cut a circular hole in the ceiling. For 4-inch lights, a hole of approximately 4.1 to 4.25 inches (10.4 to 10.8 cm) is typically required. Ensure the hole is clean and free of debris.

6.2. Electrical Connections
- Open the junction box cover. Connect the household electrical wires to the corresponding wires inside the junction box: black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and green/bare copper to green (ground). Use appropriate wire connectors (e.g., wire nuts) to secure connections.
- Ensure all connections are tight and secure. Close the junction box cover.

6.3. Connect and Mount the Light
- Connect the LED light panel's male connector to the female connector extending from the junction box. Ensure a firm connection.
- Carefully push the junction box through the cut-out hole into the ceiling cavity.
- Fold the spring-loaded clips on the sides of the LED light panel upwards. Insert the light into the ceiling hole, ensuring the clips snap into place to hold the fixture securely against the ceiling.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1. Adjusting Color Temperature (CCT)
Your POWERASIA LED Recessed Lights feature 5 selectable color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, 6000K). To change the CCT:
- Before installation, locate the CCT switch on the side of the junction box.
- Slide the switch to select your desired color temperature. You can test different settings before final installation.
- Once installed, if you wish to change the CCT, you will need to carefully remove the fixture from the ceiling to access the switch on the junction box.

7.2. Dimming Function
These lights are dimmable from 5% to 100% with compatible LED dimmers. Ensure you use an LED-compatible dimmer switch for optimal performance and to avoid flickering or damage.
