5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

  1. Insert the AC power cord into the AC IN jack on the back of the unit.
  2. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard AC wall outlet (120V ~ 60Hz).
  3. Alternatively, for portable use, insert 6 x "C" size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit, observing correct polarity.

5.2 Initial Power On

Press the POWER button to turn on the unit. The display will light up.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 CD/MP3 CD Playback

  1. Open the CD compartment door.
  2. Place a CD or MP3 CD onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Close the CD compartment door.
  4. Press the MODE button repeatedly until "CD" or "MP3" appears on the display.
  5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
  6. Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (Previous/Next) to navigate tracks.
  7. Press STOP to end playback.

6.2 USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive (containing MP3 files) into the USB port.
  2. Press the MODE button repeatedly until "USB" appears on the display.
  3. The unit will automatically scan and begin playing MP3 files.
  4. Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (Previous/Next) to navigate tracks.
  5. Press STOP to end playback.

6.3 AUX Input

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Press the MODE button repeatedly until "AUX" appears on the display.
  3. Control playback from your external audio device. The boombox will act as a speaker.

6.4 FM Radio Operation

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception.
  2. Press the MODE button repeatedly until "FM" appears on the display.
  3. Press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (Previous/Next) to manually tune to a desired frequency.
  4. Press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.

6.5 Volume Control

Use the VOLUME +/- buttons to adjust the sound level.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • CD Lens Care: Avoid touching the CD lens. If dirty, use a commercially available CD lens cleaner.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the unit in a cool, dry place. Remove batteries if using battery power.
