Setup
1. Battery Installation
Before using the handset, you must install the rechargeable AAAA battery.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
- Slide the cover downwards to open it.
- Insert the AAAA battery, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Slide the cover back into place until it clicks.
2. Connecting the Base Unit
Connect the base unit to your telephone line and power outlet.
- Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the base unit.
- Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into your wall telephone jack.
- Plug the small end of the power adapter into the DC IN jack on the base unit.
- Plug the large end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Charging the Handset
Place the handset on the base unit's charging cradle. The battery icon on the handset display will indicate charging status. Allow at least 10 hours for the initial charge.

4. Initial Setup (Date, Time, Language)
Once charged, the handset may prompt you to set the date, time, and language. Follow the on-screen instructions using the navigation and OK/MENU buttons.
Operating Instructions
Making Calls
- Dialing Directly: Pick up the handset or press the Call button, then dial the phone number.
- Pre-dialing: Dial the number first, then press the Call button.
- From Phonebook: Press OK/MENU, navigate to "Phonebook", select the entry, and press Call.
Receiving Calls
When the phone rings, press the Call button to answer. To end a call, press the End button or place the handset back on the base unit.
Adjusting Volume
During a call, use the Up/Down navigation buttons to adjust the earpiece volume.
Phonebook
Store frequently called numbers in the phonebook. Access it via the OK/MENU button. You can add, edit, or delete entries.
Redial
Press the Redial button (often the Call button when idle, or a dedicated button) to view and redial the last numbers called.
Mute Function
During a call, press the Mute button (if available, often a soft key or specific button) to temporarily turn off your microphone.
Digital Answering System
Your telephone is equipped with a digital answering system. Refer to the specific menu options under OK/MENU for setting up your greeting, playing messages, and deleting messages.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the telephone and base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid overcharging by leaving the handset off the base for extended periods when not in use. If the phone will not be used for a long time, remove the battery.
- Storage: Store the telephone in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
