4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD display. To power off, repeat the action.
4.2 LCD Display Functions

Figure 4: The smart LCD display provides real-time riding information.
The LCD display provides the following information:
- Battery Indicator: Shows the current battery charge level.
- Speed: Displays current riding speed.
- Mileage: Tracks total distance traveled.
- Pedal Assist Levels (PAS): Indicates the current level of motor assistance (1-5 levels).

Figure 5: The Shimano 7-speed gear system for varied terrain.
The Shimano 7-speed transmission allows you to adjust your pedaling effort for different terrains. Shift gears smoothly by easing pressure on the pedals while shifting.
4.5 Braking System

Figure 6: Detailed view of the mechanical disc brake system.
Your bike is equipped with mechanical front and rear disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Apply both brakes simultaneously for optimal control and shorter stopping distances.
4.6 Suspension Fork Adjustment

6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your e-bike.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bike does not power on | Battery not charged, battery not properly seated, loose electrical connection. | Ensure battery is fully charged and securely locked. Check all visible connections. |
| Motor not assisting | Low battery, PAS level set to 0, throttle not engaged, brake lever sensor activated. | Charge battery, increase PAS level, ensure throttle is fully engaged, check if brake levers are stuck. |
| Short battery range | Under-inflated tires, riding in high assist levels, frequent use of throttle, cold weather. | Inflate tires to recommended pressure, use lower assist levels, pedal more, avoid extreme cold. |
| Brakes feel weak | Worn brake pads, loose brake cable, air in hydraulic system (if applicable). | Inspect and replace brake pads. Adjust brake cable tension. Consult a bike mechanic if issues persist. |
| Gears not shifting smoothly | Dirty or unlubricated chain, misaligned derailleur, bent hanger. | Clean and lubricate the chain. Check derailleur alignment. Professional adjustment may be required. |
