3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
Before first use, unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight and remove the protective plastic insulator disc from the positive end of the battery. Insert the 21700 Lithium Ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head. Screw the tail cap back on securely.
3.2 Initial Charging
The WK15 is equipped with a built-in USB-C charging port. To charge the flashlight, open the rubber cover on the side of the flashlight head to reveal the USB-C port. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The indicator light on the side switch will show charging status: Red indicates charging, Green indicates fully charged.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
- Turn On/Off: Single-click the side switch to turn the flashlight on or off. The flashlight will remember the last used brightness mode (except Turbo and Strobe).
4.2 Mode Switching
- Cycle Brightness Modes: When the flashlight is ON, press and hold the side switch to cycle through the brightness modes: Low → Medium → High → Eco. Release the switch to select the desired mode.
- Moonlight Mode: When the flashlight is OFF, press and hold the side switch for 1 second to enter Moonlight mode (1 lumen).
4.3 Special Modes
- Turbo Mode: Double-click the side switch from ON or OFF to activate Turbo mode (3000 lumens). Single-click to return to the previously used brightness mode.
- Strobe Mode: Triple-click the side switch from ON or OFF to activate Strobe mode (3000 lumens). Single-click to return to the previously used brightness mode.
4.4 Lockout Function
- Activate Lockout: From OFF, rapidly click the side switch 4 times to enter Lockout mode. The main LED will flash once to confirm. This prevents accidental activation.
- Deactivate Lockout: From Lockout mode, rapidly click the side switch 4 times to unlock the flashlight. The main LED will flash once, and the flashlight will turn on in Moonlight mode.

6. Charging and Power Bank Function
6.1 Charging the Flashlight
The WK15 features a convenient USB-C charging port. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the flashlight and a power source. The indicator light will show red during charging and turn green when fully charged. This allows for easy recharging without removing the battery.
6.2 Power Bank Function
In emergency situations, the Wurkkos WK15 can function as a power bank to charge your mobile devices. Connect your device to the flashlight's USB-C port using a compatible cable. This feature provides a convenient backup power source for your phone or other small electronics.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth.
- O-rings: Regularly inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Lubricate them with silicone grease to maintain the IP68 waterproof rating. Replace damaged O-rings promptly.
- Storage: If storing the flashlight for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage and damage. Store in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting
- Flashlight does not turn on:
- Ensure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) end facing the head.
- Check if the protective plastic insulator disc has been removed from the battery.
- Verify the battery is charged.
- Deactivate the lockout function (4 rapid clicks from OFF).
- Ensure the tail cap and head are screwed on tightly.
- Light output is weak or flickering:
- The battery may be low. Recharge the battery.
- Clean the battery contacts and O-rings.
- Flashlight gets warm during use:
- It is normal for high-lumen flashlights to generate heat, especially in Turbo or High mode. The WK15 is designed with thermal regulation to prevent overheating. If it becomes too hot to handle, switch to a lower brightness mode.
- Beam is not adjustable:
- The Wurkkos WK15 features a fixed beam pattern and does not have an adjustable focus. Its wide beam is designed for broad illumination.
