4. Operating Instructions

The STEELMATE 986E system is operated primarily using the provided remote controls.

4.1 Arming and Disarming:

  • Arming: Press the Lock button on the remote control. The system will arm, and the siren will chirp once. The turn signals may flash.
  • Disarming: Press the Unlock button on the remote control. The system will disarm, and the siren will chirp twice. The turn signals may flash.

4.2 Keyless Driving Function:

This feature allows you to start your vehicle without using the physical key, provided the system is disarmed. Consult your installer for specific activation and usage details.

4.3 High-Jack Prevention (Engine Stop):

5.1 Remote Control Battery Replacement:
