1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand this entire instruction manual before plugging in or using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater, and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater has an automatic overheating protection feature. If improper operation, such as covers on the air outlet, increases the temperature of internal components, the heater will automatically shut off. Turn off all switches and unplug the unit for 3 to 5 minutes before reconnecting power for use.

3. Setup

The DONYER POWER Electric Stove Heater is designed for easy setup. It comes largely pre-assembled, requiring only the attachment of its legs.

3.1 Unboxing

Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. Keep all packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product.

3.2 Attaching the Legs

The heater's legs need to be attached before use. This ensures proper elevation for heat distribution from the bottom vent.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Locate the main power switch on the control panel. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the unit. Flip to 'OFF' to turn off.

4.2 Heat Settings

The heater offers two heat settings: 750W and 1500W. Use the switches on the control panel to select your desired heat output. The 1500W setting provides fast heating, warming up to 200 sq ft.

4.3 Flame Effect Control

The unit features a realistic LED flame effect that can be operated independently of the heat. Use the flame dimmer knob to adjust the intensity of the flames to create your preferred ambiance.

4.4 Thermostat Control

Use the thermostat control knob to set the desired room temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this temperature, providing consistent warmth.

5.1 Cleaning

  • Always unplug the heater before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the air intake and outlet vents are free from dust and debris. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean these areas periodically.

5.2 Storage

6. Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Heater does not turn on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the main power switch on the control panel is in the 'ON' position.
  • Heater shuts off unexpectedly: The unit may have activated its overheating protection. Turn off all switches and unplug the heater for 3-5 minutes. Ensure the air outlets are not blocked before plugging it back in and restarting.
  • No heat, but flame effect works: Verify that one of the heat setting switches (750W or 1500W) is engaged. Adjust the thermostat control knob to a higher setting.
  • Flame effect not working: Ensure the main power switch is on. Check the flame dimmer knob to ensure it is not set to the lowest intensity.
