2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of personal injury. This device emits laser radiation. Avoid direct eye exposure to the laser beam. Do not stare directly into the laser aperture. Use only as specified in this manual.

  • Do not disassemble the laser level. Repairs should only be performed by qualified personnel.
  • Do not operate the laser level in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
  • Keep the laser level out of reach of children.
  • Use only the specified batteries and charger.

4. Product Overview

The KEZERS KL4D-03G is a versatile 4x360 green laser level designed for various leveling and alignment tasks. It features four 360-degree laser planes, a touch LCD display, and multiple operating modes.

  • 4x360° Full Layout: Provides four 360-degree laser planes for comprehensive coverage, ideal for ceiling installation, tile laying, and square layouts.
  • Touch & LCD Display: An intuitive LCD screen displays battery status and allows easy selection of horizontal/vertical lines, brightness adjustment, and mode switching (Manual, Self-leveling, Pulse).
  • Dual 4000mAh Li-ion Batteries: Equipped with two rechargeable batteries, offering up to 8 hours of operation with all 16 lines active. Includes a charger for continuous use.
  • Self / Manual Leveling & Pulse Mode: Features a smart pendulum system for self-leveling within ±3° and an audible alert for out-of-level conditions. Manual mode allows locking lines for use at any angle. Pulse mode extends the working range up to 164ft (50m) with a compatible receiver (sold separately).
  • Remote Control & Multiple Installation Methods: The remote control allows convenient line selection. The device includes 1/4"-20 mounting thread for tripods/brackets, a lifting base, magnetic bracket, and mounting screws for versatile placement.

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation and Charging

The laser level comes with two 4000mAh Li-ion batteries. Ensure at least one battery is charged before use.

  1. Open the battery compartment on the side of the laser level.
  2. Insert a charged Li-ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.
  4. To charge a battery, connect it to the included power adapter using the charging cable. The LCD display will show battery status.

5.2. Mounting Options

The KEZERS KL4D-03G offers several mounting options for diverse applications:

  • Lifting Base: Use the included lifting base to adjust the laser height from 1" to 3.54" for floor-level tasks like tile installation.
  • Magnetic Bracket: Attach the magnetic bracket to metallic surfaces or use the included steel sheet and bracket patch for non-metallic surfaces. The bracket allows for fine adjustment and rotation.
  • Tripod/Bracket: The laser level features a 1/4"-20 mounting thread for compatibility with standard tripods or brackets. A 5/8"-11 threaded adapter is also included for larger tripods.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

To power on the device, slide the main switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide the switch to 'OFF'.

6.2. Self-Leveling Mode

When the pendulum is unlocked (main switch 'ON'), the laser tool automatically self-levels within ±3°. If the device is outside this range, the laser beams will flash quickly and an audible alarm will sound as a reminder to adjust the position.

6.3. Manual Mode

To activate Manual Mode, lock the pendulum by sliding the main switch to the 'OFF' position, then long-press the 'M' button on the LCD display for 3 seconds. In this mode, you can project laser lines at any desired angle without self-leveling. This is useful for tasks like installing handrails on stairs.

6.4. Pulse Mode

For use in bright environments or over long distances (up to 164ft/50m), activate Pulse Mode. This mode requires a compatible KEZERS laser receiver (not included). To switch to Pulse Mode, press the 'M' button on the LCD display.

6.5. LCD Display and Controls

The touch LCD screen provides real-time information and control:

  • Battery Status: Easily monitor the remaining battery life.
  • 'H' Button: Select horizontal lines or increase laser beam brightness.
  • 'V' Button: Select vertical lines or reduce laser beam brightness.
  • 'M' Button: Switch between Manual mode, Self-leveling mode, and Pulse mode.

6.6. Remote Control

The included remote control allows you to select desired laser lines without directly touching the device, minimizing accidental movement and ensuring precision.

6.7. Switching Line Modes

The KL4D-03G can project various combinations of horizontal and vertical lines. Use the 'H' and 'V' buttons on the device or remote control to cycle through different line configurations to suit your task.
