Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your CycevSun recessed lights, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Dust the light fixtures regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, dampen the cloth slightly with water and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Ensure the power is off before cleaning.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the fixtures for any signs of damage or loose connections. If any issues are found, turn off the power and consult a qualified electrician.
  • Bulb Replacement: These LED fixtures are designed for long life and do not require bulb replacement.

Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter with your recessed lights:

Lights are in different modes and need to sync.

If your recessed lights are displaying different modes (e.g., some in downlight, some in night light), you can easily synchronize them:

  • Turn off the main light switch controlling the fixtures.
  • Wait for more than 8 seconds. This extended off period allows the lights to reset.
  • Turn the light switch back on. All lights should now be synchronized to the default downlight mode.

Light color accuracy or brightness issues.

If the light color or brightness does not appear as expected, ensure the CCT switch on the junction box is set to your desired color temperature before installation. Also, verify that your dimmer switch is compatible with LED lighting and is functioning correctly.
