SHIJING Dual-Use Electric Suction Cups User Manual

Model: SHIJINGP618

1. Product Overview

The SHIJING Dual-Use Electric Suction Cups are professional-grade tools designed for safely and efficiently lifting and moving large, smooth-surface materials such as glass, ceramic tiles, and wood panels. This innovative system combines the convenience of an electric pump for automatic suction with the reliability of a manual pump for backup, ensuring uninterrupted operation. Each suction cup is equipped with a mechanical pressure gauge for real-time vacuum status monitoring and an automatic air refill function to maintain optimal suction pressure.

Two SHIJING dual-use electric suction cups, two electric pumps, and two red carrying cases.

2. Components and Features

Each SHIJING Dual-Use Electric Suction Cup unit includes the following key components:

  • Suction Cup Body: Features an 8-inch (20 cm) diameter NBR nitrile rubber pad for strong adhesion.
  • Anti-slip Handle: Ergonomically designed for secure grip during lifting.
  • Pressure Gauge: Mechanical gauge to monitor vacuum status. A pointer in the green zone indicates sufficient pressure, while the red zone indicates insufficient pressure.
  • Air Release Valve: Button or lever to release vacuum pressure.
  • Electric Pump: Universal electric pump for automatic vacuum creation and maintenance.
  • Manual Pump: Hand-operated pump for creating vacuum pressure, serving as a backup or alternative to the electric pump.
  • Type-C Cable: For charging the electric pump.
  • Carrying Case: Durable case for transport and storage.

3. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective use of your SHIJING Dual-Use Electric Suction Cups:

  1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the surface of the material to be lifted is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or any debris. The suction cup's rubber pad should also be clean.
  2. Position the Suction Cup: Place the suction cup firmly onto the desired smooth, non-porous surface.
  3. Engage Suction:
    • Using Electric Pump: Press the power button on the electric pump. The pump will automatically extract air until the optimal vacuum pressure is reached (approximately 0.55 bar / 130 kg holding capacity). The pump will stop automatically and will re-engage if pressure drops below 0.43 bar (110 kg) to maintain suction.
    • Using Manual Pump: If using the manual pump, repeatedly press the pump plunger until the red warning line on the plunger is no longer visible and the pressure gauge indicates sufficient vacuum (pointer in the green zone).
  4. Monitor Pressure: Continuously observe the mechanical pressure gauge during operation. The pointer should remain in the green zone. If it moves towards the red zone, re-engage the electric pump or manually pump to restore pressure.
  5. Lift and Move: Once stable suction is confirmed, carefully lift and move the material. Always maintain a firm grip on the handle.
  6. Release Suction: To release the material, press the air release valve or lever on the side of the suction cup. This will break the vacuum seal, allowing the suction cup to be removed.
Four-step operation guide for the manual suction cup: 1. Place on object. 2. Press hand pump. 3. Press pump body until red line is exceeded. 4. Press release valve.

Figure 5: Manual Operation Steps. Ensure the pump plunger is fully depressed for maximum suction.

Safety Precautions:

  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 381 kg (840 lbs) per suction cup.
  • Always ensure the pressure gauge is in the green zone before lifting.
  • Avoid using on rough, porous, or wet surfaces, as this may compromise suction.
  • Inspect the rubber pad for cuts, tears, or damage before each use.
  • Keep hands and fingers clear of pinch points during operation.

4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan and ensure the reliable performance of your SHIJING Dual-Use Electric Suction Cups:

  • Cleaning: After each use, wipe the rubber pad and all other components with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the rubber or plastic parts.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the rubber pad for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. A damaged pad can lead to loss of suction.
  • Storage: Store the suction cups in their protective carrying cases in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the rubber pad is not folded or creased during storage.
  • Electric Pump Battery: Recharge the electric pump battery as needed using the provided Type-C cable. Avoid fully discharging the battery for prolonged periods.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SHIJING Dual-Use Electric Suction Cups, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
