3. Setup and Installation
The VATRER POWER 51.2V 105Ah battery is significantly lighter than traditional lead-acid batteries, weighing approximately 132.3 pounds, which simplifies the installation process. The battery is designed to be compatible with major golf cart controllers on the market. Mounting screws are included for securing the battery in place. 3.1 Replacing Lead-Acid Batteries
When replacing existing lead-acid batteries, ensure the golf cart is powered off and all existing battery connections are safely disconnected. Due to its compact size, the lithium battery is designed to fit efficiently into the existing battery compartment of most 48V golf carts, often freeing up additional space.

3.2 Charger Connection
The battery comes with a dedicated 58.4V 20A LiFePO4 charger. Connect the charger directly to the battery's charging port and to a standard AC power outlet. The charger supports fast charging, allowing a 0% to 100% charge in approximately 5 hours.

4.1 LCD Display Screen
A 2.8-inch touch screen LCD display is included to provide real-time battery information. This display allows you to view critical data such as State of Charge (SOC), current, voltage, and temperature directly from your golf cart's dashboard.
4.2 Mobile APP Monitoring
For enhanced convenience, the battery features Mobile APP monitoring. You can connect your smartphone to the battery via Bluetooth to monitor various data points and control certain functions remotely. This includes checking the SOC, current, voltage, and temperature, providing detailed insights into your battery's status.

5. Maintenance
The VATRER POWER 51.2V 105Ah LiFePO4 battery is designed to be maintenance-free, eliminating the need for daily maintenance tasks and associated costs. Its robust construction and built-in Battery Management System (BMS) ensure long-term reliability without user intervention.
5.1 Charging
Always use the provided 58.4V 20A LiFePO4 charger for optimal performance and safety. The charger is designed for fast charging, allowing the battery to reach a full charge from 0% in approximately 5 hours. Ensure the battery is charged in a well-ventilated area.
6. Troubleshooting
The built-in 200A Battery Management System (BMS) is designed to protect the battery from various conditions. If the battery stops functioning unexpectedly, check the LCD display or Mobile APP for any active protection alerts.
6.1 BMS Protection Triggers
- Over-Charge Protection: Prevents damage from excessive charging voltage.
- Over-Discharge Protection: Prevents damage from excessive discharge, ensuring cell longevity.
- Over-Current Protection: Shuts off power if current draw exceeds safe limits.
- Short-Circuiting Protection: Automatically disconnects power in case of a short circuit.
- High/Low Temperature Protection:
- Charging is cut off below 23°F (-5°C) and resumes above 32°F (0°C).
- Discharging is cut off below -4°F (-20°C).
If a BMS protection is triggered, the battery may temporarily cease operation. Allow the battery to return to normal operating conditions or resolve the fault before attempting to use it again. Consult the Mobile APP or LCD display for specific error codes or status messages.
