3. System Setup

Follow these steps to set up your 5iktery security system:

3.1. DVR and Camera Connection

  1. Connect Cameras to DVR: Use the provided BNC cables to connect each security camera to the corresponding video input ports on the back of the DVR. Ensure connections are secure.
  2. Connect DVR to Monitor: Connect the DVR to a monitor or TV using an HDMI or VGA cable. This will allow you to view the camera feeds and navigate the DVR's interface.
  3. Connect DVR to Power: Plug the DVR's power adapter into the DVR and then into a power outlet.
  4. Connect DVR to Router (for Remote Viewing): For phone connection and remote viewing, you will need an internet cable from your internet router box. Plug one end into your router and the other into the Ethernet port on the back of the DVR. The system does not connect to Wi-Fi directly.
