Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the Generic replacement remote control, model Easytry17641. This remote is designed to operate specific Pro Breeze and Dimplex portable room and window air conditioner models, including Pro Breeze PB-AC01-US, Dimplex DAC15006R, DAC15HC, DAC15HH, and DAC15JH. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation.

Setup
Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open the compartment.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Caution:
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
- Remove batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period.
Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your air conditioner unit. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.

Button Functions:
- POWER: Turns the air conditioner unit ON or OFF.
- Cool: Activates the cooling mode.
- Dry: Activates the dehumidification mode.
- Fan: Activates the fan-only mode.
- Up (▲): Increases temperature setting or timer value.
- Down (▼): Decreases temperature setting or timer value.
- High: Sets fan speed to High.
- Med: Sets fan speed to Medium.
- Low: Sets fan speed to Low.
- Swing: Controls the louver swing function (if supported by the AC unit).
- Econ: Activates economy mode (if supported by the AC unit).
- C/F: Toggles temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- TIMER: Sets or cancels the timer function.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Remote Control
To clean the remote control, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive cleaners, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the remote's surface or internal components.
Storage
If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion. Store the remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's infrared receiver.
- Confirm that the remote is pointed directly at the air conditioner unit.
- Some functions do not work:
- This is a replacement remote. Some advanced or specific functions of your original air conditioner remote may not be supported.
- Verify that your air conditioner model is explicitly listed as compatible.
