7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your JUMMICO Power Lift Recliner Chair, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Chair Does Not Power On:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the chair and a functional wall outlet.
- Check if the power adapter is properly connected to the chair.
- Verify that the wall outlet is receiving power (test with another appliance).
- Lift/Recline Function Not Working:
- Confirm the power is connected and the chair is receiving electricity.
- Check the connection of the lift/recline remote control to the chair.
- Inspect for any obstructions preventing the chair's movement.
- If the lift function fails, and the chair is out of warranty, some users have successfully replaced the lift motor actuator. This typically involves searching for the part number (e.g., "385436504600" as mentioned in a customer review) and replacing it. However, DIY repair is not officially recommended and should only be attempted by individuals with appropriate technical skills and safety precautions.
- Massage Function Not Working:
- Ensure the massage remote control is properly connected to the chair.
- Verify the chair is powered on.
- Check if the massage unit's power cord is securely connected.
- Unusual Noises During Operation:
- Ensure no objects are caught in the chair's mechanism.
- If noises persist, contact customer support. Do not attempt to lubricate or disassemble internal components unless instructed by support.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, please contact JUMMICO customer service for further assistance.
