Operating Instructions

Opening and Closing Drawers

The shoe cabinet features two flip drawers designed for easy access. Gently pull the handle to open a drawer, allowing it to tilt forward. Push the drawer back into the cabinet until it clicks securely to close.

Adjusting Internal Storage

Each flip drawer contains internal panels that can be adjusted or removed to suit your storage needs.

  • To adjust: Carefully slide the panel into one of the two available grooves to change the height for different shoe types.
  • To remove: Slide the panel completely out to create a larger single storage space within the drawer, suitable for high-top shoes or boots.

Top Surface Use

The top surface of the cabinet includes a protective fence, making it suitable for placing potted plants, ornaments, keys, or other small items without concern of them falling off.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and care will help maintain the appearance and longevity of your Maupvit shoe cabinet.

  • Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
  • Hardware: Periodically check and tighten any loose screws or fittings to ensure stability.
  • Drawers: Ensure the flip drawer mechanisms operate smoothly. If they become stiff, a small amount of silicone spray can be applied to the moving parts (avoiding contact with wood surfaces).
