Efficiency and Cooling

The 80 PLUS Platinum certification ensures that the power supply operates with high efficiency, converting more wall power into usable electricity for your components and generating less waste heat. The Axial-tech 120mm PWM fan is designed to provide optimal airflow while maintaining low noise levels. The 0dB technology allows the fan to stop completely under light loads, ensuring silent operation when your system demand is low.

Aura Sync RGB Lighting

The integrated ARGB lighting on the fan and chassis is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync. Connect the provided Addressable RGB cable to a compatible motherboard header to synchronize lighting effects across your entire system. This allows for personalized aesthetics and a unified lighting theme.

4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your power supply:

  • Dust Removal: Periodically clean dust from the power supply's fan and vents using compressed air. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Ensure Airflow: Verify that the power supply's intake and exhaust vents are not obstructed by cables or other components within the PC case. Good airflow is crucial for efficient cooling.
  • Cable Management: Maintain tidy cable management to prevent interference with airflow and to ensure no cables are pinched or damaged.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your power supply, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power:
    • Check if the AC power cord is securely connected to both the power supply and the wall outlet.
    • Ensure the power switch on the rear of the PSU is in the 'On' (I) position.
    • Verify that the main motherboard power cable (24-pin) and CPU power cables (4/8-pin) are correctly seated.
    • Test the wall outlet with another device to confirm it is supplying power.
  • System Instability/Crashes:
    • Ensure all power cables to components (especially graphics card) are securely connected.
    • Confirm that your system's power requirements do not exceed the 1000W capacity of the PSU.
    • Check for proper ventilation within your PC case to prevent overheating.
  • Unusual Noises:
    • If the fan is making unusual noises, ensure it is free from obstructions.
    • If coil whine is present, it is often a characteristic of high-performance components and typically does not indicate a fault.

If issues persist after performing these steps, contact ASUS customer support for further assistance.
