4.1 Filling the Water Reservoir

The INFINITIPRO by CONAIR Steam Therapy Flat Iron offers two convenient ways to fill its water reservoir:

Using the Base Station:
- Ensure the flat iron is unplugged and cool.
- Fill the external base station water reservoir with distilled water. The reservoir has "MIN" and "MAX" indicators.
- Place the flat iron onto the base station. The internal reservoir of the flat iron will automatically refill in seconds via gravity.

Direct Refill (for travel or without base station):
- Ensure the flat iron is unplugged and cool.
- Locate the small water reservoir on the flat iron handle.
- Carefully open the reservoir cap.
- Using the provided dropper or a small bottle, fill the reservoir with distilled water. Do not overfill.
- Securely close the reservoir cap.

Note: Always use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal steam performance. Tap water may cause damage over time.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On and Temperature Selection

Plug the flat iron into a standard electrical outlet.
Press and hold the Power button until the indicator lights illuminate.
Select your desired temperature using the temperature control buttons. The flat iron offers 5 heat settings up to 430°F. The indicator lights will flash until the selected temperature is reached, then remain solid.

5.2 Activating the Steam Function

Once the flat iron has reached the desired temperature, you can activate the steam function:

Press the Steam button to turn the steam mist on. An indicator light will confirm activation.
You can choose to style with or without the steam function, depending on your preference and hair type.

5.3 Hair Preparation and Styling

Ensure hair is clean, dry, and free of tangles. For best results, apply a heat protectant spray.
Section your hair into manageable 1-inch wide strands. The removable detangling comb can assist with this.
Starting from the roots, gently clamp a section of hair between the plates.
Smoothly glide the flat iron down the hair section to the ends. The steam mist will infuse moisture as you style.
Repeat on all sections until desired straightness is achieved. For loose curls, twist the flat iron as you glide it down the hair section.
