  4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord securely into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operation

5.1 Basic Rice Cooking (White Rice / Pre-washed Rice)

  1. Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice.
  2. Wash Rice (if necessary): If using regular white rice, wash it gently until the water runs clear. For pre-washed rice, this step is not required.
  3. Add Water: Place the washed rice into the inner pot. Add water up to the corresponding water level mark inside the pot for your chosen rice type and quantity.
  4. Insert Inner Pot: Place the inner pot into the main unit, ensuring it sits correctly.
  5. Close Lid: Close the outer lid firmly until it clicks.
  6. Select Course: Use the control panel to select the desired cooking course (e.g., White Rice).
  7. Start Cooking: Press the Start button. The cooking process will begin.

5.2 Pressure IH Cooking

The rice cooker utilizes Pressure IH technology, which increases the internal pressure up to 1.2 atmospheres. This raises the boiling point to 105°C, allowing the rice to cook thoroughly and evenly, resulting in a superior texture.

5.3 Small Quantity Course

This course is optimized for cooking smaller portions of rice, specifically from 0.5 to 2 cups. It adjusts the heating control to ensure delicious results even with reduced quantities.

Note: Power consumption may increase compared to the standard Eco-cooking course. This course is not available for the 'Barley Rice' setting.

The Premium Course allows you to customize the texture of your white or pre-washed rice. It adjusts soaking and steaming times to achieve three distinct textures:

  • Firm: For a crispier texture, ideal for dishes like curry.
  • Regular: A balanced texture for everyday meals.
  • Chewy: For a softer, stickier texture, suitable for bento boxes.
