Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your OwlTree PC Mechanical Power Switch:

  1. Identify Motherboard Connectors: Locate the POWER LED+, POWER LED-, and POWER SW connectors on your computer's motherboard. These are typically found on the front panel header.

  2. Connect the Switch: Connect the corresponding cables from the OwlTree power switch to the identified pins on the motherboard. Ensure correct polarity for the LED connections (POWER LED+ and POWER LED-).
  3. Utilize the Splitter (Optional): If your original PC case power switch is still in use, connect it to the provided 1-to-2 splitter, then connect the splitter to the motherboard. This allows both the original switch and the OwlTree switch to function simultaneously.

  4. Position the Switch: The power switch features a magnetic base and comes with an adhesive plate.
