Setup
1. Initial Power-Up
The safe requires batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment, usually on the inside of the door, and insert the required batteries (typically AA, not included). Ensure correct polarity.
2. Mounting the Safe
For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to securely mount the safe to a floor or wall. The safe features pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom for this purpose.
- Choose a suitable location for mounting.
- Position the safe and mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided expansion bolts. Tighten all bolts firmly.

Operating Instructions
Unlocking Methods
The RPNB 80L Home Safe offers four methods for unlocking:
- Fingerprint Recognition: The safe features an advanced biometric fingerprint recognition system integrated into the handle. Simply grasp the handle and place your registered finger on the sensor. The safe will unlock within 1 second.
- Passcode: Use the smart touch screen panel to enter your programmed 6-digit passcode.
- Emergency Key: In case of battery failure or forgotten passcode/fingerprint, use the emergency key to manually open the safe.
- Fingerprint + Passcode: For enhanced security, you can configure the safe to require both a registered fingerprint and the passcode for unlocking.

Setting Your Passcode
- With the safe door open, press the internal reset button (usually located on the inside of the door or near the battery compartment).
- Enter your desired 6-digit passcode on the touch screen panel.
- Press the '#' button to confirm. The safe will emit a confirmation sound.
- Test the new passcode with the door open before closing it.
Registering Fingerprints
The safe can store up to 30 fingerprints.
- With the safe door open, press the internal fingerprint registration button (refer to the diagram in the manual for exact location).
- Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor on the handle. The safe will prompt you to lift and place your finger multiple times from different angles to ensure a complete scan.
- Once registration is complete, the safe will emit a confirmation sound.
- Test the registered fingerprint with the door open before closing it.

Alarm System
The RPNB safe is equipped with a dual alarm system for enhanced security:
- Tamper Alarm: If an incorrect passcode or unregistered fingerprint is entered three consecutive times, the safe will activate an audible alarm for 60 seconds.
- Vibration Alarm: If the safe detects unauthorized impact or movement, it will trigger an audible alarm for 60 seconds, alerting you to potential tampering.

External Power Supply (Type-C)
In case the internal batteries are depleted, the safe can be temporarily powered via an external Type-C USB connection to allow access using the digital keypad or fingerprint sensor.

Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Use high-quality alkaline batteries.
- Cleaning: Wipe the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Clean the fingerprint sensor gently with a dry, lint-free cloth.
- Lock Mechanism: Do not lubricate the lock mechanism. If it feels stiff, contact customer support.
