4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to a power outlet. Insert the battery into the charger. The charging indicator on the charger will show the charging status. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

4.2 Installing the Battery

Slide the charged battery pack into the battery slot at the rear of the sander until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly seated to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.

4.3 Attaching Sanding Sheets

The sander uses 125mm diameter sanding sheets with hook-and-loop fastening. Align the holes on the sanding sheet with the holes on the sanding pad for optimal dust extraction. Press the sanding sheet firmly onto the pad to secure it.

4.4 Connecting Dust Collection

The sander comes with an integrated dust collection box. Attach the dust box to the dust port on the sander. For external dust extraction, use the provided adapter to connect a vacuum cleaner hose to the dust port.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Turning On/Off

To turn on the sander, press the ON/OFF switch. To turn it off, release or press the switch again, depending on the switch type (toggle or push-button with lock-on function).

5.2 Adjusting Speed

The sander features variable speed control, allowing adjustment of the no-load speed from 3000 to 12000 min⁻¹ and oscillation rate from 6000 to 24000 min⁻¹. Use the speed adjustment dial or trigger to select the appropriate speed for your material and sanding task.

5.3 Sanding Techniques

• Always hold the sander firmly with both hands.
• Start the sander before placing it on the workpiece.
• Apply light, even pressure. Let the tool do the work.
• Move the sander in overlapping circular or elliptical patterns for best results and to avoid swirl marks.
• Do not press too hard, as this can reduce sanding efficiency and damage the sanding pad or workpiece.
• For fine finishing, use higher grit sandpaper and lighter pressure.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Dust Box

Regularly empty the dust collection box to maintain optimal dust extraction performance. Detach the box, empty its contents, and reattach it securely.

6.2 Cleaning the Tool

After each use, wipe down the sander with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.

6.3 Storage

Store the sander, battery, and charger in the provided carrying case in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the battery is partially charged (not fully discharged or fully charged) for long-term storage.
