1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Vegetable GD-HM1 Hand Mixer & Food Chopper. This versatile 2-in-1 appliance is designed to simplify your kitchen tasks, offering both mixing and chopping functionalities. It features a USB rechargeable design for cordless convenience and adjustable speed settings to suit various culinary needs. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe operation and optimal performance.

2. Product Overview

The GD-HM1 unit consists of a main motor body, a food chopper bowl with a blade, and two types of mixer attachments (whisk and beater). Familiarize yourself with all components before assembly.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

  1. Before first use, fully charge the appliance. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the main motor body.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The indicator light will show charging status. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable.

3.2 Assembling the Hand Mixer

  1. Select the desired attachment (whisk or beater).
  2. Insert the attachment into the designated slot on the main motor body until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Ensure the attachment is firmly seated before operation.

3.3 Assembling the Food Chopper

  1. Carefully place the chopper blade onto the central pin inside the food chopper bowl. Handle blades with extreme caution as they are sharp.
  2. Add your ingredients to the chopper bowl. Do not overfill.
  3. Align the main motor body with the top of the chopper bowl and twist or press down to secure it. Ensure it is locked in place before operation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Speed Control

  • Press the power button to turn the unit on.
  • Use the speed control buttons (usually marked '+' and '-') to adjust between 1 to 5 speed levels. Start with a lower speed and increase as needed.
  • Press the power button again to turn the unit off.

4.2 Using the Hand Mixer

  1. Assemble the hand mixer as described in Section 3.2.
  2. Immerse the attachments into your ingredients in a suitable mixing bowl.
  3. Turn on the unit and select the desired speed.
  4. Move the mixer gently through the ingredients until the desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Turn off the unit before removing the attachments from the bowl.

4.3 Using the Food Chopper

  1. Assemble the food chopper as described in Section 3.3.
  2. Ensure the main motor body is securely attached to the chopper bowl.
  3. Turn on the unit and select the desired speed. Use short pulses for coarse chopping or continuous operation for finer results.
  4. Monitor the consistency of the ingredients through the transparent bowl.
  5. Turn off the unit and wait for the blade to stop completely before detaching the motor body and removing the blade.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your appliance.

5.1 Cleaning the Main Motor Body

  • Always ensure the unit is turned off and disconnected from any charging cable before cleaning.
  • Wipe the main motor body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

5.2 Cleaning Attachments and Bowl

  • Detach all attachments (whisk, beater, chopper blade) and the chopper bowl from the main motor body.
  • Wash these parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
  • The chopper blade is extremely sharp; handle with care during washing.
  • These parts may also be suitable for dishwasher cleaning on the top rack, but hand washing is recommended for longevity.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
