Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues matching the keypad to your garage door opener, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- Check Compatibility: Verify that your garage door opener model and learn button color are listed as compatible. If unsure, consult the compatibility charts in this manual or contact customer support.
- Door Position: Ensure the garage door is fully closed before attempting programming. Some openers require the door to be closed for successful programming.
- Follow Instructions Precisely: Re-program the keypad strictly following the steps outlined in the 'Operating Instructions: Programming Your Keypad' section. Small deviations can prevent successful pairing.
- Clear Existing Codes: To clear all previous codes from your garage door opener, press and hold the Learn Button on your garage door opener panel until the LED light turns off. This action will erase all previously connected remote controls and keypads. After clearing, you will need to reprogram all remote controls and keypads you wish to use with the opener.
