Setup

Before first use, disassemble and wash all parts of your eddy+ water bottle. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for detailed instructions.

2. Remove the straw from the underside of the cap.
3. Ensure the bite valve is securely attached to the cap.
4. After cleaning, reinsert the straw firmly into the cap's opening.

Operating Instructions

The CamelBak eddy+ features a unique bite valve system for easy sipping.

1. To Drink: Flip up the bite valve. Gently bite the silicone valve and sip to draw liquid through the straw. The design allows for 25% more flow.
2. To Close: Push the bite valve down to seal it. This ensures the bottle is leak-proof when closed.
3. Carrying: Use the integrated two-finger carry loop handle on the cap for easy transport.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your water bottle.

• Cap: The cap is dishwasher safe. Place it on the top rack of your dishwasher.
• Bottle Body: The stainless steel vessel should be hand washed. Use warm, soapy water and a bottle brush to clean the interior. Rinse thoroughly.
• Straw and Bite Valve: Remove the straw and bite valve from the cap. Clean them with warm, soapy water and a small brush (like a straw brush) to ensure all crevices are free of residue. Rinse thoroughly.
• Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.

Troubleshooting

• Difficulty Sipping: Ensure the bite valve is flipped up and the straw is firmly inserted into the cap. Sometimes, if the cap is screwed on too tightly, it can create a vacuum. Try slightly loosening the cap or pushing the straw upwards into the cap to relieve pressure.
• Ice Rattling: Due to the double-wall insulation, ice cubes may rattle inside the bottle during movement. This is normal and does not affect performance.
• Condensation: The double-wall vacuum insulation is designed to prevent condensation. If you notice condensation, ensure the cap is securely closed and the bottle has not been exposed to extreme temperature changes that could compromise the vacuum seal.
