GOTMINSI Bar Stools (Set of 4) Instruction Manual

Model: GOT-7112-4

1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, usage, maintenance, and specifications of your GOTMINSI Bar Stools. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure safe and correct operation.

2. Safety Information

  • Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 300 pounds per stool. Exceeding this limit may cause damage to the stool and potential injury.
  • Assembly: Ensure all components are correctly assembled and all fasteners are securely tightened before use. Loose parts can lead to instability and injury.
  • Placement: Place stools on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.
  • Children: Supervise children when they are near or using the bar stools.
  • Modifications: Do not modify the product in any way. Unauthorized modifications may compromise safety and void any potential warranty.

3. Package Contents

Your GOTMINSI Bar Stools package includes the following items:

  • 4 x Upholstered Bar Stool Seats with Backrests
  • 4 x Sets of Solid Wood Legs (front and back)
  • 1 x Hardware Kit (screws, washers, Allen wrench)
  • 1 x Assembly Instruction Sheet

Please verify all parts are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for these bar stools. An estimated assembly time is approximately 15 minutes per stool. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Attach Legs: Identify the front and back legs. Attach the legs to the underside of the stool seat using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Do not fully tighten the screws at this stage.
  3. Attach Footrests: Connect the footrest bars between the legs. Ensure they are properly aligned. Again, do not fully tighten the screws yet.
  4. Leveling: Once all components are loosely assembled, place the stool upright on a flat surface. Sit on the stool for a moment to allow the legs to settle and align naturally. This helps prevent creaking and ensures the stool is level.
  5. Final Tightening: While seated or after ensuring the stool is level, gradually tighten all screws securely. Do not overtighten, as this may damage the wood or crack components.
  6. Check Stability: After tightening all screws, gently rock the stool to ensure it is stable and does not wobble. If it wobbles, loosen the screws slightly, re-level, and retighten.

5. Operating and Usage

The GOTMINSI Bar Stools are designed for various settings, including kitchen islands, dining areas, home bars, and commercial spaces. Their 24-inch seat height is suitable for counters or tables ranging from 35 to 37 inches tall.

  • Ergonomic Design: The 15.36-inch tall backrest provides lumbar support for comfortable seating.
  • Space-Saving: The armless design and compact 16.54" x 16.54" footprint allow the stools to be easily placed under most counters or islands.
  • Adjustable Foot Pads: The adjustable foot pads on the legs help to stabilize the stool on uneven floors and protect your flooring from scratches.

6. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your bar stools.

  • Cleaning Fabric: For general cleaning, wipe the upholstered fabric with a dry cloth. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, which may damage the fabric. The slub linen fabric is designed to be scratch and tear resistant.
  • Cleaning Wood: Wipe the solid wood legs with a dry cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fading of the fabric.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Stool Wobbles After Assembly:
Solution: Loosen all screws slightly. Place the stool on a flat surface and sit on it to allow the legs to settle. Then, gradually tighten all screws securely. Ensure the adjustable foot pads are properly set.
  • Difficulty Inserting Legs/Screws:
Solution: Ensure you are using the correct screws for each part. Sometimes, a rubber mallet can be used gently to tap legs into place if they are snug, but avoid excessive force to prevent damage. Check for any obstructions in the pre-drilled holes.
  • Creaking Noises:
Solution: Creaking often indicates loose connections. Re-tighten all screws, especially those connecting the legs and footrests. Sitting on the stool before final tightening can help prevent this.
