Dual Flame Modes
Your torch offers two distinct flame modes for various tasks:
- Hard Fire Mode (Jet Blue Flame): Concentrates maximum heat for intense applications like searing, soldering, or heat shrinking.
- Soft Fire Mode (Soft Yellow Flame): Ideal for delicate tasks such as caramelizing sugar, lighting candles, or general kitchen use, while conserving butane gas.

Setup
Butane Refilling
The torch is shipped without butane gas. Before first use or when the flame weakens, refill the torch with high-quality butane gas. The Sondiko kitchen butane torch is designed to fit any brand of butane gas, whether long nozzle or short nozzle.
- Ensure the torch is turned off and cooled down.
- Invert the torch and locate the Fuel Filling Port at the bottom.
- If using a short nozzle butane can, attach the red adapter included in the box to the butane can's nozzle.
- Press the butane can's nozzle firmly into the torch's filling port. Hold for 5-10 seconds. You may hear a hissing sound as gas transfers.
- Repeat the process 2-3 times to ensure a full fill.
- After refilling, allow the torch to rest for 5-10 minutes before use. This allows the gas to stabilize and reach room temperature.

Releasing High-Pressure Gas (Important for first use or after refilling)
If the flame is unstable or too large after refilling, it may be due to high pressure gas inside the torch. Use the red inflation tool (or a small pointed object) to release excess gas:
- Invert the torch.
- Carefully insert the red inflation tool into the fuel filling port.
- Press gently to release the gas. You will hear a hissing sound. Continue until the hissing stops.
- Allow the torch to rest for 5-10 minutes after releasing gas before attempting to ignite.
Operating Instructions
Ignition
- Ensure the safety lock is disengaged (if applicable).
- Press the Ignition Button (trigger) to ignite the flame. Thanks to Piezo Ignition Technology, this torch can be used at any angle, even upside down.
Flame Adjustment
- Use the Flame Adjustment Button (regulator) to control the size and intensity of the flame. Turn it to increase or decrease the flame. The flame can reach up to 1300 °C / 2372 °F.
- To switch between hard (jet blue) and soft (yellow) flame modes, use the Flame Mode Adjustment Button.
