4. Setup Instructions

4.1. Grow Tent Assembly

1. Unpack all tent components: poles, connectors, and tent fabric.
2. Assemble the metal frame by connecting the poles according to the included diagram. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Drape the tent fabric over the assembled frame. Carefully pull the fabric down and zip it up.
4. Ensure all zippers are fully closed to prevent light leaks.

4.2. LED Grow Light Installation (AeroLight SE 100W)

1. Attach the rope hangers to the corners of the AeroLight SE 100W LED Grow Light.
2. Hang the grow light from the crossbars inside the tent using the rope hangers. Adjust the height as needed for your plants.

4.3. Ventilation System Installation (AeroZesh G4 Fan & Carbon Filter)

1. Attach the prefilter to the carbon filter.
2. Connect one end of the 4" ducting to the carbon filter and secure it with a clamp.
3. Connect the other end of the ducting to the 4" AeroZesh G4 Fan and secure it with a clamp.
4. Hang the assembled fan and filter unit inside the tent, typically at the top, using the provided hangers.
5. Route the remaining ducting from the fan to an exhaust port on the tent. Secure with a clamp and vent cover.

4.4. GrowHub E42A Controller Setup

1. Mount the GrowHub E42A Controller to a convenient location inside or outside the tent using its magnetic backing or an iron plate.
2. Connect the AeroLight SE 100W LED Grow Light and the AeroZesh G4 Fan to the appropriate ports on the GrowHub Controller.
3. Insert the temperature and humidity probe into the designated port on the controller and position the probe inside the tent canopy.
4. Utilize the cable management slots on the tent to organize wires and sensors, ensuring a tidy and safe setup.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. GrowHub E42A Controller Overview

The GrowHub E42A Controller is the central control unit for your smart grow tent system. It features a built-in temperature and humidity gauge, along with an external probe, to monitor environmental conditions both inside and outside the tent. All settings can be adjusted directly on the controller or via the VIVOSUN App.

5.2. VIVOSUN App Connectivity

1. Download the VIVOSUN App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Follow the in-app instructions to create an account and connect your GrowHub E42A Controller to your home WiFi network.
3. Once connected, you can monitor and control all connected devices (light, fan) remotely.

5.3. AeroLight SE 100W LED Grow Light Operation

The AeroLight SE 100W is a full-spectrum LED grow light with an integrated circulatory fan. It is fully programmable via the GrowHub Controller and VIVOSUN App.

• Light Intensity: Adjust the light intensity (dimming) to suit different growth stages.
• Spectrum Tuning: Fine-tune the light spectrum for optimal plant development.
• Scheduling: Set custom on/off cycles and duration for automated lighting.
• Integrated Fan: The built-in fan enhances airflow within the canopy, which can be programmed for speed and operation.

5.4. AeroZesh G4 Fan Operation

The 4" AeroZesh G4 Fan provides efficient and quiet ventilation for your grow tent. It is controlled by the GrowHub Controller.

• PWM Control: The fan uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for energy-efficient operation and precise speed adjustment.
• Low Noise: Operates quietly at approximately 28 dBA.
• Mixed-Flow Design: Delivers consistent airflow over longer distances, suitable for high static pressure applications.
• Automated Ventilation: Program the fan speed and operation based on temperature and humidity thresholds set in the GrowHub Controller or App.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Grow Tent Cleaning

• Regularly wipe down the interior Mylar lining with a damp cloth to maintain reflectivity.
• Clean the exterior fabric with a mild detergent and water as needed.
• Ensure the tent is completely dry before zipping it up to prevent mold or mildew.

6.2. Carbon Filter and Prefilter

• The prefilter should be cleaned or replaced regularly (every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to ensure optimal airflow and filter efficiency.
• The carbon filter typically needs replacement every 6-12 months, depending on usage and environmental conditions.

6.3. LED Grow Light

• Gently wipe the LED surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the LEDs.
• Ensure the integrated fan on the light is free from obstructions for proper cooling.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. Light Leaks from Tent

• Ensure all zippers are fully closed and the zipper flaps are properly sealed.
• Check all vent ports and cable openings for proper closure or sealing with vent covers and cable ties.
• Inspect seams and corners for any manufacturing defects. Contact VIVOSUN support if issues persist.

7.2. Fan Not Operating or Making Excessive Noise

• Verify the fan is securely connected to the GrowHub Controller and the power source.
• Check fan settings in the GrowHub Controller or VIVOSUN App to ensure it is not set to 'off' or a very low speed.
• Ensure the ducting is not kinked or obstructed, which can cause increased noise or reduced airflow.
• Clean the fan blades and housing if dust or debris is present.

7.3. GrowHub Controller or App Connectivity Issues

• Ensure your WiFi network is active and the signal strength is adequate where the controller is located.
• Restart the GrowHub Controller by unplugging and re-plugging it.
• Verify the VIVOSUN App is updated to the latest version.
• If issues persist, try re-pairing the controller with the app according to the in-app instructions.
