Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your picture light:

  1. Prepare Mounting Location: Select a suitable location on the wall. Drill two pilot holes at the desired mounting points. Ensure the distance between the holes matches the mounting bracket on the light. Insert the expansion pillar hinges (wall anchors) into the pilot holes.
  2. Attach Mounting Bracket: Place the metal mounting plate over the drilled holes. Insert the screws into the expansion pillar hinges and tighten them slightly until the bracket is secure, but do not fully tighten yet.
  3. Level and Secure: Use a level to ensure the mounting bracket is perfectly horizontal. Once level, fully tighten the screws to secure the bracket firmly to the wall. Avoid over-tightening.
  4. Hang the Picture Light: Align the picture light with the mounting bracket. Slide the light unit downwards onto the bracket until it locks into position.
  5. Remove for Charging (Optional): To remove the picture light from the mounting bracket, hold the light by its base (not the light head). Slide the unit upwards until it releases from the bracket, then pull it away from the wall.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your picture light:

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the light fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
  • Battery Care: For best battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the light when brightness noticeably diminishes. If storing the light for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% every few months.
  • Indoor Use Only: This product is designed for indoor use. Do not expose it to moisture or extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your picture light, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Light Not Turning On:
    • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the light to a power source and check the blue LED indicator.
    • Verify that the remote control batteries are functional.
    • Try operating the light using the manual touch switch to rule out a remote control issue.
  • Remote Control Not Responding:
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light.
    • Check and replace the remote control battery if necessary.
    • Ensure you are within the effective range of the remote control.
  • Short Battery Life:
    • Battery life varies with brightness settings. Higher brightness consumes more power.
    • Ensure the light is fully charged before use (blue LED indicator turns off).
    • Over time, all rechargeable batteries experience degradation.
