1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Bear 6L Top-Fill Humidifier. This ultrasonic cool mist humidifier is designed to improve air quality and comfort in your home, offering a large 6-liter capacity, ultra-quiet operation (28dB), and a convenient top-fill design. It features a 360° rotatable nozzle for optimal mist distribution and an aromatherapy tray for essential oils. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Information

To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or injury, please observe the following safety precautions:

  • Always unplug the humidifier from the power outlet before filling, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
  • Do not immerse the base unit in water or other liquids.
  • Ensure the voltage of your power supply matches the humidifier's specifications (220 Volt).
  • Keep the humidifier out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank. Use only the designated aromatherapy tray.
  • The humidifier features an automatic shut-off function when water runs out. The indicator will light red. For safety, you must restart the unit after refilling.
  • Do not block the mist outlet or air intake vents.

  • Main Unit Base: Contains the control knob, power cord, and ultrasonic transducer.
  • 6L Water Tank: Transparent tank for water, with a top-fill opening and integrated handle.
  • Top Lid: Covers the water tank opening and houses the mist nozzle.
  • 360° Rotatable Nozzle: Allows for directional mist output.
  • Aromatherapy Tray: Located at the bottom of the unit, designed for adding essential oils.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack the Humidifier: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Ensure to remove the white pearl cotton foam edge located under the lever float inside the water tank. This foam is for transport protection and must be removed before use.
  2. Place the Humidifier: Position the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and furniture. Do not place it on carpet or near heat sources.
  3. Fill the Water Tank:
    • Remove the top lid.
    • Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank through the top opening. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
    • Replace the top lid securely.
  4. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable 220 Volt electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Turn the control knob clockwise from the "OFF" position to turn on the humidifier. Turn it counter-clockwise to the "OFF" position to turn it off.
  2. Adjust Mist Level: Rotate the control knob to adjust the mist output from minimum (MIN) to maximum (MAX).
  3. Adjust Mist Direction: Rotate the 360° nozzle on top of the lid to direct the mist flow as desired.
  4. Aromatherapy Function:
    • Locate the aromatherapy tray at the bottom of the main unit.
    • Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the cotton pad inside the tray.
    • Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank, as this can damage the unit.
  5. Automatic Shut-off: The humidifier will automatically turn off when the water level is too low. The "Operation/lack of water" indicator light will turn red. Refill the water tank and restart the unit to resume operation.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and hygiene. We recommend cleaning your humidifier every three days.

  1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Separate the water tank from the base unit and remove the top lid and nozzle.
  3. Clean the Water Tank:
    • Fill the water tank as you normally would, but add 2 tablespoons of distilled white vinegar (or similar mild acid like citric acid powder).
    • Let this mixture sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
    • Empty the tank and clean any areas with additional buildup using a soft brush and cloth.
  4. Clean the Base Unit: Gently wipe the surface of the base unit and the ultrasonic transducer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the base unit in water.
  5. Rinse and Dry: Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water. Allow all components to air dry completely for 30-60 minutes before reassembling and using the humidifier again.
  6. Storage: If storing the humidifier for an extended period, ensure all parts are clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your humidifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
