Safety Information
Before installation, ensure the power supply to the fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker. Always consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about any wiring procedures. Do not attempt to modify the LED tube in any way. These tubes are designed for indoor use only.
- Disconnect power before inspection, installation, or removal.
- Do not use with dimmers unless explicitly stated as compatible.
- Ensure the fixture is properly grounded.
- Avoid looking directly at the operating LED light.
Installation Instructions (Setup)
CNSUNWAY 4FT LED Tube Lights offer flexible installation options: Plug & Play (with existing ballast) or Ballast Bypass (direct wire).
Option 1: Plug & Play (Type A - With Ballast)
This method allows for direct replacement of fluorescent tubes without rewiring the fixture, provided your existing ballast is compatible.
- Turn off Power: Ensure the power to the fixture is completely off at the circuit breaker.
- Remove Old Tubes: Carefully remove the existing fluorescent tubes from the fixture.
- Check Ballast Compatibility: Refer to the Ballast Compatibility List provided in this manual to confirm your ballast model is supported. Using an unlisted ballast may cause damage or improper operation.
- Install LED Tubes: Insert the CNSUNWAY LED tubes into the fixture's existing sockets (tombstones).
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Option 2: Ballast Bypass (Type B - Direct Wire)
This method involves removing the existing ballast and wiring the fixture directly to the main power supply. This is suitable for both single-ended and double-ended power connections.
- Turn off Power: Absolutely ensure the power to the fixture is completely off at the circuit breaker.
- Remove Old Tubes and Ballast: Carefully remove the existing fluorescent tubes. Then, locate and remove the ballast from the fixture.
- Rewire Fixture:
- For Double-Ended Power: Connect the live (L) wire (usually black) to the tombstone pins on one end of the fixture, and the neutral (N) wire (usually white) to the tombstone pins on the other end.
- For Single-Ended Power: Connect both the live (L) and neutral (N) wires to the tombstone pins on one end of the fixture. The other end of the fixture will not be wired.
Important: Ensure all connections are secure and insulated. If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
- Install LED Tubes: Insert the CNSUNWAY LED tubes into the rewired fixture's sockets.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
