Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Always unplug the warmer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Cleaning the Warming Dish: Once the wax has cooled and solidified, it can often be gently popped out of the ceramic dish. If residue remains, wipe with a soft cloth. For stubborn residue, place the dish in a freezer for a few minutes, then the wax should easily detach. Alternatively, warm the dish slightly to soften the wax, then wipe it out with a paper towel.
  • Cleaning the Warmer Base: Wipe the exterior of the warmer base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before next use.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Warmer is not heating.
Solution: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check that the roller switch on the cord is in the 'On' position. Verify that the outlet itself is functional by testing it with another appliance.
Problem: Wax is not melting or fragrance is weak.
Solution: Ensure the warmer has been on for sufficient time (it may take 15-30 minutes for wax to fully melt and fragrance to disperse). Check the quality and age of your wax melts or essential oils, as older products may lose potency. Ensure the warming dish is properly seated on the heating element.
Problem: Wax residue is difficult to remove from the dish.
Solution: Refer to the 'Maintenance and Cleaning' section for detailed instructions on removing solidified wax.
