- Start Analysis: Press the 'Start' button to begin the drying process. The screen will display real-time drying data, including drying time, current temperature, and moisture percentage.
- End of Analysis: The analysis will automatically stop when the selected drying mode criteria are met. The final moisture content will be displayed.
- Record Data: Data can be saved to memory or exported via the RS232 interface to a computer or printer.
6.2 Drying Modes
- Automatic Mode: The analyzer automatically detects when the sample has reached a constant weight, indicating complete drying.
- Timing Mode: The drying process runs for a pre-set duration. This mode is suitable for samples with known drying characteristics.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your moisture analyzer.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior. For the heating chamber and sample pan, ensure they are cool before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Calibration: Periodically calibrate the balance using certified calibration weights to maintain accuracy. Refer to the on-screen menu for calibration procedures.
- Sample Pan Replacement: Replace aluminum sample pans after each use.
- Storage: When not in use, keep the plastic cover on the analyzer to protect it from dust and debris. Store in a dry, stable environment.
