3. Setup Instructions
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in Section 2.2 are present.
- Attach Carrying Handles (Optional): If desired, attach the carrying handles to the designated points on the scale platform using the provided screws and nuts.
- Attach Wheels (Optional): For easier mobility, attach the wheels to the underside of the scale platform using the provided hardware.
- Position the Scale: Place the scale on a firm, level surface. Adjust the four adjustable feet to ensure the scale is stable and does not wobble. This is crucial for accurate readings.
- Connect the Indicator: Connect the digital indicator to the scale platform. Ensure the connection is secure. The sensor connection port is IP66 waterproof and dust-proof.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Weighing
- Turn On: Press the ON button on the digital indicator. The display will show "0.0 lb" (or other unit if previously set).
- Place Animal: Gently place the animal on the center of the scale platform.
- Read Weight: Wait for the reading to stabilize. The "Stable" indicator on the display will light up.
- Hold Function: If the animal is moving, press the Hold button. The scale will capture and display a stable weight even with slight movement.
- Turn Off: Press the OFF button to turn off the indicator.
4.2 Unit Conversion
To switch between weighing units (e.g., pounds, kilograms), press the UNIT/ESC button. The display will cycle through available units.
4.3 Zero/Tare Function
- Zero: If the display does not show "0.0" when the scale is empty, press the Zero/Tare button to reset it to zero.

Detailed Calibration Steps:
- Turn Off Indicator: Ensure the indicator is turned off.
- Enter Calibration Mode: Press and hold the ON button for 2-3 seconds until the display shows "P 0000".
- Adjust Flashing Digit: Press the ON button repeatedly until the second-to-last digit flashes.
- Set Value to "P 0020": Use the Net/Gross button to modify the value to "P 0020".
- Confirm LF 1: Press the M+ button. The display will show "LF 1".
- Confirm CAL 2: Press the M+ button again. The display will show "CAL 2".
- Set Calibration Weight: Continue pressing the M+ button until the display shows "00700.0 lb" (or your desired calibration weight). Use the ON button to move the flashing digit's position and the Net/Gross button to adjust the value to match the weight of your calibration object. For example, if calibrating with a 5.0 lb weight, set the display to "00005.0 lb".
- Place Calibration Object: Press the M+ button. The display will show "0.0 lb". Carefully place your known calibration object (e.g., a 5.0 lb weight) onto the center of the scale platform.
- Complete Calibration: Once the weight is stable, press the M+ button once more to complete the calibration process. The scale will return to normal weighing mode.
